How to Play X Poker
X Poker is Ten of a Kind's simulated Texas Hold'em strategy game, built around the Battle of Ten Kings — a journey through history across themed kingdoms, played against AI opponents. It's skill-based entertainment only: no real-money gambling, wagering, deposits, or prizes, ever.
Texas Hold'em Basics
Every hand starts with two private cards (your "hole cards") dealt face down to each player. Over the course of the hand, up to five shared "community cards" are dealt face up in the middle of the table. Your goal is to make the best possible five-card poker hand using any combination of your two hole cards and the five community cards.
The Betting Rounds
- Preflop — after hole cards are dealt, betting starts from the player left of the big blind. Each player can call, raise, or fold.
- The Flop — three community cards are dealt face up, followed by a round of betting.
- The Turn — a fourth community card is dealt, followed by another round of betting.
- The River — a fifth and final community card is dealt, followed by the last round of betting.
- Showdown — remaining players reveal their hole cards; the best five-card hand wins the pot.
Poker Hand Rankings (Best to Worst)
- Royal Flush — A, K, Q, J, 10, all the same suit
- Straight Flush — five sequential cards, all the same suit
- Four of a Kind — four cards of the same rank
- Full House — three of a kind plus a pair
- Flush — five cards of the same suit, not in sequence
- Straight — five sequential cards of mixed suits
- Three of a Kind — three cards of the same rank
- Two Pair — two separate pairs
- One Pair — two cards of the same rank
- High Card — no pair or better; the highest card plays
The Battle of Ten Kings: X Poker's Progression System
Outside the poker table itself, X Poker frames your progress as a journey across 5 competitive circuits — the Indian Ocean, Eurasia, Australasia, the Americas, and the Rest of the World. Each circuit is built from themed kingdoms — 50 in total — and every kingdom unlocks a set of real historic forts as you progress, drawn from an authoritative catalog of 500 forts across all five circuits. Each kingdom also carries its own noble title (Baron, Marquis, Raja, and others depending on the region) that you earn as you climb. You'll meet Renoir, X Poker's dealer, whose tagline is "The wild doesn't fold."
Aura Points
Aura points and leaderboard position are a cosmetic progression system only — they track your standing across circuits and kingdoms, but they carry no monetary, prize, or eligibility value.

You can start playing immediately as a guest, with no account required — onboarding tables and free-entry events seat 6 players. Sign in with Google if you'd like your progress synced and saved across devices.
